A western Kentucky pair was arrested on drug charges Friday afternoon outside the McCracken County Courthouse.
McCracken County Sheriff's deputies were called to the courthouse parking lot to check on the welfare of two people that witnesses said appeared to be asleep in a vehicle. The passersby were concerned for the safety of the individuals. Deputies said that the two, Michael Dickerson of Ledbetter and Jennifer Henderson of Benton, were reportedly found in possession of methamphetamine and appeared to be under the influence.
The two were arrested and charged with meth possession and public intoxication. Both were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
