Paducah man charged with inciting a riot in Mayfield

A Paducah man was charged with inciting a riot in Mayfield on Sunday.

Mayfield Police responded to a physical altercation involving a large number of people in the 500 block of East Water Street. While attempting to separate everyone involved, 21-year-old Malik Orr was observed striking a female in the face. 

Orr was placed under arrest at that time. Further investigation revealed that Orr was found to be encouraging the parties to actively assault each other. 

Orr is charged with inciting a riot, assault and disorderly conduct.
