Police have now announced more than two dozen charges against a man arrested twice over the weekend following two crash-related incidents.

Twenty-six-year-old Terrell Murdock was first arrested last Friday after allegedly firing a gun during a hit-and-run accident that ended in a seven-vehicle crash with four people injured, including two juveniles.

He was arrested again the next day after authorities said he hit a stop sign and a McDonald's sign. Police said a search of his vehicle Saturday uncovered a large quantity of marijuana, cocaine and ecstacy pills.

As the investigation into Friday's crash continued, officers spoke with the parents of the juveniles that were injured. After learning more about the severity of their injuries, Murdock was additionally charged with two counts of assault.

Authorities then obtained a search warrant for Murdock's first vehicle that was impounded after Friday's crash, and discovered three handguns, more drugs, and cash. Murdock was charged with trafficking in marijuana and trafficking in a controlled substance.

Murdock faces a total of 27 gun, drug and traffic charges. He remains lodged in the McCracken County jail.
