The Graves County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people Wednesday afternoon for alleged drug trafficking.

Deputies said they received information about suspected fentanyl trafficking at a home in Graves County, and the two suspects were wanted on arrest warrants out of McCracken County.

The suspects, 33-year-old Christopher L. Lester of Paducah and 26-year-old Shayla M. Harper of Mayfield, were found inside the home, along with numerous dosage units of fentanyl, marijuana and synthetic marijuana.

Police said Lester was out on bond in McCracken County for trafficking in and possessing fentanyl. He also had pending drug charges in Graves County and has been convicted of crimes while out on bond for others.

Harper is currently out on bond in both Graves and McCracken Counties on outstanding and pending drug charges.

Lester and Harper were arrested and taken to out-of-county detention centers.
