A Paducah man was arrested on Monday, accused of filing a false report against his former nanny.

Kentucky State Police said that 41-year-old Ryan Conn had earlier alleged to KSP that his former nanny had stolen and damaged items in his home in 2024. Conn said the former nanny hosted parties at the home and consumed his alcohol while the family was out of town.

Investigators reviewed text message conversations between the two, and determined that Conn had authorized the gatherings and the taking of alcohol.

According to KSP, Conn’s former nanny is a victim in an ongoing criminal case against Conn. The former nanny is also the plaintiff in a civil case against Conn.

Conn was previously indicted in March on nine felony charges after an investigation into a hidden camera incident in his home. In that investigation, he’s accused of recording four minors in 2024, with one victim being 12 years old.

Conn was also arrested in January in San Diego by port authority police and border patrol officers in connection with yet another investigation in McCracken County.

In that investigation, a tip alleged Conn, a volunteer wrestling coach at McCracken County Public Schools at the time, may have been involved in a sexual relationship with a student almost a year prior.

Conn was arrested Monday on charges of false report of an incident to law enforcement, intimidating a participant in the legal process and retaliating against a participant in the legal process.

He was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
