One killed, three injured in Graves County collision

One person was killed and three others were injured in a two-car crash Friday afternoon in northwestern Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's office said the collision occurred about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Ky Hwy 440 and Ky Hwy 408, southeast of the Lowes community. 

Utility poles were snapped in the crash, and downed power lines and power was out for a time in the immediate area. 

The roadway was opened and electricity was restored by around 9 p.m.
