Noble Park pickleball courts expected to open by September

Noble Park will have pickleball courts in about a month, with city officials saying they'll be ready to show off the colorful playing surface soon.

The 8-court facility is under construction across from the tennis courts.

Officials say they're working on setting up fencing, shade structures, benches, sidewalks, and lighting.

They initially planned on opening the courts in mid-August, but due to a manufacturing delay with the lighting system, the finish date is expected to be closer to the beginning of September.
