NWS confirms a tornado Tuesday in Fulton County

Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service in Paducah released the preliminary damage survey of a Tuesday morning tornado in Fulton County.

They said an EF-0 tornado touched down three miles southwest of the Cayce Community. 

The twister stayed on the ground for two minutes and ran for seven-tenths of a mile, with max winds of 75 miles per hour and was 100 yards wide.

They said the tornado damaged some hog barns and trees before dissipating in a field just east of 1127.
