Murray woman jailed on theft and fraud charges

A Murray woman was arrested Monday after allegedly taking money earlier this month from the Murray Tiger Booster Club.

Murray police said 35-year-old Haley Mardis was taken into custody after an investigation by the Murray Tiger Booster Club revealed fradulent charges on the orgraization's debit card along with missing bank deposits.

Mardis is charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and theft by unlawful taking.

Mardis ws lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
