Murray woman accused of theft of $22,000 from elderly person

A Murray woman has been arrested and charged with the alleged theft of $22,000 from an elderly person, along with identity theft.  

Murray Police began an investigation on November 2nd with 35-year-old Dawn Lloyd Metcalf of Murray as the suspect in the case.

Metcalf was originally charged with theft by deception over $10,000, criminal possession of a forged instrument, and knowing abuse/neglect of an adult. 

Further investigation by Murray Police allegedly uncovered more evidence of wrongdoing. Metcalf was charged on Thursday with four counts of theft of identity without consent.
