Murray man charged with neglect of elderly person

An investigation into elderly neglect led to the arrest of a Murray man.

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office said they received complaints that 24-year-old Steven Lyons was neglecting an elderly person in his care between January and November of this year.

The sheriff’s office said they arrested Lyons on Monday. He was booked into the Calloway County Detention Facility on the charge of wanton abuse/neglect of an adult person.
