Murray State Board of Regents to hold special meeting Friday

Murray State University's Board of Regents will hold a special meeting Friday morning.

According to an advanced agenda, two new regents, faculty representative Dr. Gary ZeRuth and student regent Ali Khatib will be sworn in.  

The board will also elect officers for the positions of vice chair and secretary.

Other action will include personnel changes regarding the contracts of athletic director Nico Yantko and extension of the contract of baseball coach Dan Skirka.  A resolution of appreciation will also be presented to Skirka after the Racers made their first appearance in the College World Series.

The meeting begins at 9:00 am.
