McCracken County drug division detectives capped off a month-long investigation with the arrest of two people related to illegal drug sales.

During the investigation, detectives said they made a series of undercover methamphetamine purchases from 47-year-old Heidi A. Wilson and 50-year-old Robert M. Brunson.

On Thursday, detectives located Wilson and placed her under arrest. At the time of her arrest, she was found to be in possession of meth and cash believed to be the proceeds from illegal drug sales.

Detectives traveled to Wilson’s residence on Boyd Street in Paducah and located additional meth, a small amount of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Brunson was not present during the search but was located and arrested at the residence on Friday morning.

Both were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
