Month-long drug investigation in Sedalia nets arrest

The Graves County Sheriff's office posted Tuesday that throughout the month of November, they made numerous controlled illegal drug purchases in the Sedalia area, due to complaints about drug activity there.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of 63-year-old Richard Boaz on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance. Detectives reportedly purchased methamphetamine from Boaz on multiple occasions.

Boaz was lodged in an out-of-county detention center.
