Minnesota fugitive facing additional charges in Lyon County

A Minnesota man who led police on a pursuit and manhunt in July was hit with additional charges last week.

Lyon County Sheriff's deputies served 41-year-old Anthony I. Williams of Minneapolis with an indictment warrant stemming from a pursuit and manhunt that took place off I-24 near KY 293 in Lyon County. Williams was wanted out of Minnesota where he was on parole from a 2nd-degree murder conviction.

Williams will face charges of speeding, reckless driving, fleeing or evading, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, tampering with physical evidence, and more on top of warrants from Minnesota. 

Williams remains in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
