An ongoing investigation into meth trafficking netted six Paducah residents.

McCracken County detectives said it was discovered that illegal drug activity was taking place at a home on North 6th Street.

A vehicle leaving the home was stopped Sunday afternoon. The passenger, identified as 50-year-old Michael W. Stewart, was arrested after detectives said meth was found on his person.

Authorities said the main target of the investigation, 49-year-old Dandre Porter, was seen leaving the home to deliver meth. After a short pursuit, Porter was arrested, and 29 grams of crystal methamphetamine was allegedly recovered.

A search of the home reportedly led to the recovery of more meth, and another four arrests, including 45-year-old Brenda D. Middleton, 29-year-old Amber E. Cook, 34-year-old Glenden J. Belsha, and 42-year-old Melissa M. Alajous.

Stewart, Middleton, Cook, Belsha, and Alajous were all charged with possession of meth, while Porter was charged with trafficking in meth, resisting arrest, and fleeing or evading police.

They were taken to the McCracken County jail.
