A McCracken County man has been charged in connection to a break-in at a Paducah pharmacy.

Paducah police were called just after midnight on September 7 to an alarm sounding at West Towne Pharmacy on Westpark Drive.

At the scene, officers found a broken door and pill bottles scattered inside the business and in the parking lot.

Detectives say store surveillance showed a black vehicle in the parking lot and a man that was either bald or had a receding hairline.

The investigation led authorities to issue warrants charging 34-year-old Christopher Brent Roper with burglary and theft by unlawful taking.

Roper was found to be an inmate at the Christian County Jail. He was served with the warrants on Monday.
