A McCracken County man was arrested Saturday evening after authorities said he pulled out a handgun at a hotel in downtown Paducah.
Paducah police were called after a man entered the hotel with a handgun and began acting aggressively. Hotel employees evacuated the lobby and locked the doors when 46-year-old Larry Wilson went outside, according to police.
Authorities said a second caller reported that he was outside behind the hotel when Wilson pulled a gun, chambered a round, and pointed it at him.
Police said they located Wilson outside the hotel, removed the handgun and took him into custody. He is charged with wanton endangerment and public intoxication.
