McCracken County man arrested for assault with dinner plate

A McCracken County man was arrested for assault on Tuesday after he allegedly hit another man in the head with a dinner plate.

Paducah Police said the victim told officers he was at a residence on Levin Avenue with two other people when 56-year-old Dan Morse assaulted him, cutting his ear.

Police said Morse admitted to hitting the victim in the head with a dinner plate. Morse was arrested and charged with assault.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
