Mayfield man jailed on Calloway drug charge

A traffic stop in Murray ended with a trip to jail for a Mayfield man.

Deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle along US 641 in Murray at about 2 p.m. Monday. The driver, 21-year-old Conner Snelling of Mayfield, was said to have been found in possession of methamphetamine. 

Snelling was charged with meth possession and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
