Mayfield man jailed after being found on a roadway

A Mayfield man was arrested Thursday after being found lying on a roadway.

Mayfield Police said 36-year-old Cedric Lucious was found intoxicated on illegal drugs and that he had attempted to steal a car from a passerby. Lucious was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center on tcharges of disorderly cpnduct, public intoxication-excludes alcohol), attempted carjacking, possession of a controlled substance and other offenses. ,
