Lake Barkley bridge restricted for inspection next week

The US 68/KY 80 Lake Barkley Bridge at Canton is scheduled for a multi-day inspection starting Tuesday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will have crews on site from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m through Friday for climbers to conduct a hands-on inspection. 

During this time, traffic will be restricted to a single lane. Motorists can also expect periodic traffic delays.

The sidewalk will be closed during the inspection.
