A multi-county pursuit on Friday led to a wanted Mayfield man's arrest on several charges.
Deputies said they noticed a vehicle speeding over 90 miles per hour in Graves County and learned the driver, 51-year-old James T. Dowdy, was wanted on five outstanding warrants.
Dowdy reportedly refused to stop, and the pursuit continued into Tennessee, where he drove through several yards and a fence before coming to rest in a field.
Dowdy was arrested by the Weakley County Sheriff's Office and will be extradited back to Kentucky.
He was served with the warrants and charged with reckless driving, wanting endangerment, criminal mischief, fleeing or evading police, and other charges.
