A Mayfield man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for crimes related to methamphetamine.
Thirty-seven-year-old Deanthony L. Noonan was convicted of possession with the intent to distribute more than 500 grams of a methamphetamine mixture, according to officials.
Noonan was sentenced last week to 15 years in prison, followed by a five-year term of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
The Drug Enforcement Administration Paducah post of duty investigated, along with the sheriff's offices of McCracken and Graves counties.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Seth Hancock, Chief of the U.S. Attorney’s Paducah Branch Office, prosecuted the case.
