Man charged with crashing into Mayfield bridge and business

A man suspected of hitting a parked truck, a bridge and a business was arrested in Mayfield.

Mayfield Police said 21-year-old Anthony Chavez was driving on South 10th Street when he allegedly crossed over and hit a parked truck and then a bridge at West College Street.

Police said Chavez continued until he hit the wall of a local business.

Chavez was arrested and booked into the Christian County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to render aid or assistance.
