Lyon County Sheriff searching for smash and grab suspects

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is warning residents of a recent string of smash and grab burglaries.  

According to the Sheriff's Office these are vehicle burglaries that take place during the daytime and that other local communities such as Grand Rivers and Calvert City have also had recent incidents. 

They said these burglaries started last year and happen periodically when people drive through the area as the suspects are often gone as quick as they arrive. 

This time the suspects are two black males who burglarized a silver car and grey pickup truck. 

Anyone with any information related to these crimes are asked to contact the Lyon County Sheriff's office, the Calvert City Police Department, or the Livingston County Sheriff's Office.
