Paducah man jailed after domestic dispute

A Paducah man was arrrested Tuesday morning after Baptist Hospital security contacted 911 about a verbal disturbance.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said 68-year-old Tony Masing was taken into custody after his wife told investigators she was assaulted Monday night at a Geibe Road residence.

The victim told investigators Masing tried to assault her with a frying pan and a short time later submerged her head underwater.

Masing was taken to the McCracken County Jail.  The McCracken County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Paducah Police and Baptist Hospital Security.
