The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is seeking more information about a recent string of mailbox vandalism.

Sheriff Brent White shared in a Facebook post Saturday they are receiving multiple reports of mailbox vandalism, with the most damage occurring in the south end of the county.

The sheriff asked those who may have been victims of this crime to email the Sheriff's Office. They ask residents to include your name, address, phone number, and what date your found the damage. Those who are replacing a mailbox are reminded to keep a copy of receipts for their investigative file so the sheriff can assist with restitution once they capture and prosecute those responsible.

Residents can send the email to LyCoSheriff@lyonsheriff.com.

Anyone with information about these crimes are asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (270) 388-2311 or (270) 388-3631.
