Two juveniles were arrested Monday morning after what was initially reported as a shots fired call in Johnson County, Illinois.
Authorities responded to the scene approximately half a block from Buncombe Grade School, which was immediately placed on lockdown.
After investigation it was determined that the juveniles used a pellet gun to shoot windows out of a van nearby. After the pellet gun was discovered, the school’s lockdown was lifted.
The juveniles were charged with criminal damage to property.
