Local physcian appointed to Kentucky Fire Commission

Governor Andy Beshear announced Friday Dr. Irvin Smith is a new member of the Kentucky Fire Commission.

Smith is a physician at Healthworks LLC and a member of the National Association of EMS Physicians.

He represents experience in emergency medicine and will serve for a term expiring Nov. 30, 2027.
