Lexington, TN woman jailed on theft and drug charges

A Lexington, TN woman was arrested Sunday night in Murray.

Murray Police were called to a store in regards to a shoplifter.  During the investigation, evidence of criminal activity beyond shoplifting was discovered.

45-year-old Tonya GIbson was charged with theft by unlawful taking, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Gibson was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
