'Kill list' taken from elementary girls in Dawson Springs

A “kill list” was located and taken from a pair of grade school girls in Dawson Springs on Monday.

In a release from the Dawson Springs Independent Schools, a teacher took the list from the girls and removed them from class. While their investigation continues, officials do not believe there was an immediate threat. The indication is that disciplinary action is coming for the two students involved in making the list.

The district also said they are contacting the families of the students on the list. They note that with juveniles involved, they will be limited in the information that can be released.
