Kentucky State Police looking for Hopkins County escapee

The Kentucky State Police are looking for a Hopkins County inmate that walked away from a work program.

Thursday afternoon around 5 p.m., troopers said 35-year-old Chad Allen Thomas walked away from the work site at 3 Rivers Farm on Beulah Road in Hopkins County. It is not known which direction Thomas headed.

Thomas is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall weighing 230 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.  He was serving a sentence for receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and other charges. 

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Thomas is asked to contact Kentucky State Police. Anonymous tips can be left on the KSP app.
