A Murray man was arrested after a domestic disturbance in Metropolis on Saturday.

Metropolis Police were called to Fairmont Apartments where 39-year-old Danny T. Dale (aka Monti Chello Dale) was seen leaving the residence. He was asked to stay but ignored commands and refused to identify himself.

Dale ran from officers and was caught near Filmore Street. He resisted efforts to handcuff him and a struggle ensued. 

Dale continued to struggle and as they were walking towards the parked squad cars, he again pulled away aggressively in the opposite direction. He was taken to the ground. He was warned numerous times that he would be tased if he did not comply. Dale eventually complied. 

He was complaining of knee pain and was taken to Massac Hospital to be evaluated.

Meanwhile, officers learned that Dale had shoved the victim against a wall and was scaring the children in the residence and yelling at them. When she she she would call the police, Dale allegedly smashed her phone. 

Dale was charged with aggravated domestic battery, resisting arrest, interference with 911 call and a parole violation warrant out of KY. He was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
