The Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training announced 24 new law enforcement officers were graduated from the Academy of Police Supervision Class 96, also known as sergeants' academy.
Graduates from western Kentucky included:
Sgt. Christopher Greenfield, Marshall County Sheriff's Office
Sgt. Michael D. Weatherford, Murray Police Department

The three-week training program targeted newly promoted officers who are on their agency's promotion list to become sergeants.
The program was launched in 2003. The training helps to positively influence people, via emotional and social intelligence, ethical decision-making, problem-solving, emotional survival, and public speaking.
