Paducah’s 5th annual Juneteenth Celebration now has a new name.

Friday, June 19 will now be titled as FreedomFest: Paducah’s Juneteenth Celebration.

The Paducah-McCracken County NAACP, with the city of Paducah and the Community Growth Legacy Foundation, will host the event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on the National Quilt Museum lawn.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or quilts for seating.

There will be a free concert by Nashville-based band The DVL Revue, with local performer RedVelvet TheGoddess opening.

The museum’s lobby and gift shop will be open, and vendors will be on-site for shopping.

You can purchase official FreedomFest t-shirts, with proceeds benefitting the Paducah-McCracken County NAACP.
