Two people were arrested in Paduch for methamphetamine trafficking Thursday afternoon as a result of a joint investigation by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and the Paducah Police Department.

Graves County detectives obtained arrest warrants for 46-year-old Mysti Bonnell for trafficking in methamphetamine. On Thursday McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives received information that Bonnell was actively selling methamphetamine in McCracken County.

Detectives arranged a controlled purchase from Bonnell in which learned she was reportedly obtaining her supply from 32-year-old Dillion Watwood at a home on South 25th Street in Paducah.

Detectives located Watwood in the backyard of the home and placed him under arrest. They said they recovered approximately 73 grams of methamphetamine concealed on Watwood, along with currency believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. Watwood was on probation at the time of his arrest for a prior meth trafficking conviction.

Both Bonnell and Watwood were charged with meth trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
