Murray State University's new nursing building will be dedicated during a ribbon cutting next month.
The Murray Ledger and Times reported that Jackson Hall, named after former president Dr. Bob Jackson and his wife Karen, will be dedicated October 1st.
Construction on the building began in December 2024. The new facility will offer Murray State University’s nursing students state-of-the-art technology, expanded space for labs, larger classrooms, simulation areas, and the campus health clinic.
The university will also that day honor other alumni and donors during the ceremony by dedicating several of Jackson Hall’s interior spaces.
