A Clarksville man was arrested on attempted murder and other charges following a pursuit in Christian County on Tuesday.
The Christian County Sheriff's Office said they received a call concerning a pursuit that began in Madisonville and travelled southbound on I-169.
The car operated by 26-year-old Jaylen Hoosier of Clarksville, ran off the road several times, avoiding spike strips, and at one point reportedly drove toward deputies who were along the road with the spike strips.
The pursuit ended at the 11-mile marker when the driver lost control after deputies used a precision immobilization technique.
Hoosier was apprehended and charged with attempted murder, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, and two counts of first-degree criminal mischief.
Hoosier was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
