The American Quilter’s Society's second-ever Branson event is underway now through Saturday.
This week is the first of four AQS shows this year. It's also the milestone 100th quilt show ever put on by the AQS since its founding in Paducah in 1985. Along with the dozens of annual shows in Paducah, they've also been held regularly in Des Moines, Iowa; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and lately in the Ozarks.
Quilts are on display at the Branson Convention Center from 43 states and 14 other countries, along with more than 150 display booths from quilting vendors and suppliers.
Branson show hours are Wednesday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $15.00 daily/$12 for AQS members.
Paducah's annual Quilt Week will take place on April 26-29.
