An injury crash Wednesday morning blocked traffic along US 60 at Maxon Road and sent two men to hospitals.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred just after 7:30 a.m. when a pair of pickup trucks collided seriously injuring both drivers. The Concord Fire Department had to cut both of the men from their vehicles so treatment could begin before transporting them from the scene.
Collision reconstruction determined that a truck driven by David Drew of Paducah was attempting to cross US 60 from Maxon Road when he collided with another truck driven by Christopher Pearson of Wickliffe. The force of the impact sent both trucks into the guardrail.
Both men were taken by ambulance to local hospitals. Pearson's injuries required him to be transferred to an out-of-state hospital.
