Human trafficking suspect returned to McCracken County after capture using FLOCK cameras

An Illinois man was captured this month and returned to McCracken County authorities after his vehicle was identified through the use of FLOCK cameras.

Early in August, McCracken County deputies began an investigation into a juvenile that had run away with an older male. Patrol deputies were able to identify the vehicle the suspect was driving. 

Utilizing FLOCK cameras, the vehicle was found traveling in Illinois, and was stopped by the Illinois State Police. As a result, 26-year-old Kenon Bradford of Erie, Illinois was arrested and the juvenile was brought back to safe hands.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation was also involved in the investigation.

On Monday, Bradford was extradited back to Kentucky and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

He was reportedly charged with custodial interference, attempted human trafficking in commercial sex activity, and possession of material portraying a sex performance by a minor.

The sheriff's office said more criminal charges are expected.
