Human remains discovered in Hickman over the weekend

An investigation is underway after human remains were found within the city limits of Hickman over the weekend.

Hickman police said the remains were discovered on Sunday evening, and further investigation by the Fulton County Coroner’s Office confirmed the remains were human.

They said the coroner’s office will work to identify the remains, and Hickman police along with the Fulton County Sheriff's office will assist forensic experts to determine the circumstances surrounding the case.
