Highway crews busy in Hickman County, across region

The Hickman County highway crew has been working for the past several days along KY 288, east of US 51 in the Spring Hill area.

The recent historic rainfall caused damage to multiple culverts along a 3-mile stretch of KY 288, and there were also several washouts along the shoulder of the roadway. 
 
Crews across all 12 counties in District 1 have also been busy trying to repair damage caused by flooding. As many of the roads covered with high water dry out, a good number of them will also need to be repaired.
