Hickman man the fourth arrested in connection to prom party shooting
A Hickman man is the fourth person arrested in connection to the shooting at a prom after-party last weekend at the W.C. Young Community Center.
Paducah Police said that the continuing investigation revealed evidence and witness statements connecting 21-year-old Dylan M. Hammond of Hickman to the incident. Detectives believe Hammond also fired a gun multiple times. An arrest warrant was obtained and the Fulton County Sheriff's Department arrested Hammond in Hickman around Noon on Thursday.
Hammond is charged with four counts of assault and 12 counts of wanton endangerment.
Two Paducah juveniles along with 20-year-old Omariyon Harper of Union City have also been charged in the incident.
Paducah Police continue to investigate and ask that anyone who was at the party or has information call them or leave an anonymous tip with West Kentucky CrimeStoppers.
