A crash Tuesday afternoon in Graves County sent two people to the hospital.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at 12:18 pm at the intersection of Westplains and Herman roads.
Deputies said 22-year-old Jermontae Adams, of Mayfield, was driving eastbound on Westplains Road. Adams stopped at the posted stop sign at the intersection of Westplains and Herman roads but then reportedly pulled into the path of a UPS delivery truck, driven by 24-year-old Slade Culver, of Brookport, Ill. The two vehicles collided, causing them to run off the southeast corner of the intersection, striking several trees.
Adams was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. A passenger in Adams’ vehicle, 22-year-old Kory Fulcher, of Paducah, was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Culver did not report any injuries at the scene.
