Benton and Princeton have been awarded grants from the Delta Regional Authority for several projects.

U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the announcement on Wednesday. The funding was made possible through the States' Economic Development Assistance Program.

The Marshall County Fiscal Court will receive $527,158 to create safe traffic entrance points that connect the Southwest One Industrial Park with US 641.

The Kentucky Community Medical Clinic in Princeton has been awarded $120,957 for new x-ray equipment for their rural healthcare clinics.

Two other western Kentucky projects also received funding, including $650,501 to the Henderson Community College and $387,772 for the City of Greenville.
