Grain elevator fire in Cairo

A fire broke out on Thursday morning on a conveyor at a grain elevator in Cairo. 

Cairo Police told KFVS that the fire started Thursday morning and was affecting three silos that were storing soybeans. A representative from the company told KFVS that there had been no reported injuries, and no other information would be released pending an investigation.

As many as eight fire departments have been on the scene including units from Wickliffe and Ballard County.
