Road work project in Mayfield extended

A one-lane restriction on US 45 northbound between the 16.9 and 17.1 MM in Mayfield is expected to continue until Thursday, Jan. 2.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is installing new drop boxes and pipes along the divided highway of US 45 northbound between South 9th Street and West Water Street.

The project is extended due to weather.
