Fulton County issues burn ban

Fulton County has implemented the first county-wide burn ban in western Kentucky as of Monday.

Fulton County Judge-executive Jim Martin posted Monday that any outdoor burning in banned due to extremely dry conditions.

The ban will be lifted after sufficient rainfall has ended the need for the ban.

The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet lists other Kentucky county burn bans, including Allen, Barren​, ​Logan​, 
​​Ohio, ​Simpson and ​Tod​d.
